Seeing the world through your dog’s eyes

Although dogs seem to us to have very human-like skills at times (being able to learn the names of items and respond to pointing gestures), in fact in many key areas they experience their world very differently to people. This talk gives a brief overview of some of the newest information on dog behaviour and cognition, with special reference to work done in the School of Life Sciences. We aim to inspire people to admire their dogs’ capabilities whilst still recognising how different they are to us.
