Innovations in ambulance care

At some point most of us will call an ambulance for ourselves or someone close to us. But what kind of care can we expect from ambulance staff?

The Ambulance Service is about far more than transporting you to hospital.  Join Professor Niro Siriwardena, Dr Stephanie Armstrong and Greg Whitley for an interactive exploration of the latest research and innovation in ambulance care working in partnership with East Midlands Ambulance Service.  Discover what paramedics can do for conditions such as cardiac arrest and stroke and see some of the equipment being used.  You can find out how a common explosive is helping save lives and learn how to help save a life too by having a go at CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)!
