The Black Death in your garden

The Black Death was an epidemic of plague which killed perhaps half the population of the western world in the middle ages.  This hands-on exhibition will show how evidence from painstaking archaeological excavations can be methodically analysed to reconstruct how the worst disaster in history affected villages and towns anywhere.

This exhibition will be supplemented by 15 minute talks + Q&A, starting at half past every hour from 11.30am.

Venue: TBC
Time:  TBC
Age / Key Stage: Suitable for all, curriculum link to KS 3&4
